CHANGES TO WORSHIP FROM 19th JULY:

Following the Government’s lifting of legal restrictions on activities to manage Coronavirus we have been asked to make decisions that are right for the local circumstances.  Having listened to people, we are looking to take a cautious approach for Ormskirk and Lathom, enabling us to start to relax the rules while keeping everyone safe... Hand sanitiser remains available so please use it on entry.  Booking in for services is no longer required.  Names and contact details do not have to be provided but it would be helpful if you gave your name to the sidesperson.  The QR code remains available which you are encouraged, but not obliged to use.  We are following the Government guidance so expect and recommend that masks continue to be worn in church.  Singing can restart.  Some social distancing will still be maintained to help those people who are not quite ready to sit close to others.  The collection plate will not be passed round but money can be left in the plate on the way in.

We will continue to share the peace in the way we have done for the last 16 months.  Communion will continue to be distributed in the pew and in one kind on

We are really pleased to be able to welcome people back into the Parish Church and Lathom Park Chapel. We are taking the first steps to be able to worship God together while keeping everyone safe. The PCC are determined to make this work, enabling everyone to worship safely and be equipped to love and serve the Lord in the communities where we are called.
